Are you facing challenges in your faith? you are not alone. God is still with you through the storm, He hasn’t left you and he will not for He has promised that He will never leave you nor forsake you, he will be with you till the end of age.
Whenever I face some challenges, I always try to constantly remind myself of the word of God and what God said to me, it gives me calmness and peace. Also I ask for the help of the holyspirit. It is very essential we ask for the power of the holyspirit because he alone is the only one that can help you and bring light into your life. The word of God reminds us in Galatians 5:22, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,”
We can always ask the holyspirit to fill us up, we need God in our lives everyday.
Do not feel downcast when things seem a little slow or nothing new is happening or you feel there is no growth in your life. A word of wisdom you can meditate on is that the things you see are temporary and the things you do not see are eternal, so do not be earthly minded but be heavenly minded. Meaning that you need to stir yourself up in the lord through faith, prayer and confessing all the promises He has given to you or shown you.
Do not be distracted by the chaos you see, even in your dreams, the devil cannot prevail. Have you ever heard of darkness overcoming light? I bet you haven’t, please go with the mindset that Christ has won it all for you, your part is to enforce it through your faith and believe in Christ jesus. For without faith, it’s impossible to please God. Pour out your thoughts, emotions unto the lord, He already knows what is on your mind but He wants you to talk to Him, and He will give you the peace that surpasses all understanding. He says he cares for you and he will not allow you to be moved. There were times I felt down due to the reason that I believed I wasn’t praying enough or spending time with God enough or that I wasn’t sure if I was living my purpose at work and everyday. Sometimes I tend to be very critical of myself because I like to be a better person than I was yesterday. Yes, re evaluating your actions and making corrections is good but then being over critical can lead you to condemnation and it can spiral down to wanting to do things in your strength and not with the help of God.
Dear brothers and sisters, I am saying all this just to let anyone of you know that there is more to you than your temporary emotions, God is still with you through the storm, let us ask God to help us through this process, making us to learn what it means to be contented with our season, learning to be dependent on Him, walking by faith in all things and not by sight.
With the love of God I bless you.
